Help make South Lanarkshire  accessible to all

 South Lanarkshire Access Panel is here to ensure that all those who live, work and visit South Lanarkshire are able to access the services and facilities that the area has to offer in a way that best meets their needs. 

 Our aim is to:

ensure that everyone can use a building regardless of their needs; 

• include people who have physical, sight or hearing difficulties, have mental health or learning disabilities, cannot walk far because of an injury or illness, have young children, or who are frail;

• actively encourage planners and developers to think about access at the design stage making sure it is part of and not an after thought

 We want to work with you to:

 remove barriers to services

• create a community that is fit for all

• influence designers, developers and local service providers to understand everyone’s needs and how these can be met.
